Abstract:
A valve device which prevents the inside of a fuel tank from being maintained at a pressure higher than or equal to a predetermined positive pressure or from being maintained at negative pressure, thereby preventing the fuel tank from being deteriorated.
A valve device (10) is provided with: a body case (20) for containing a float valve (30) and having a first through-hole; a joint member (100); and a pressure regulation valve (50) which is disposed so that the pressure regulation valve (50) can be brought into contact with the first through-hole from above and can be separated therefrom, and which is pressed by a spring (58) in the direction in which the pressure regulation valve (50) closes the first through-hole. The pressure regulation valve (50) is provided with: an outer case (51) having a second through-hole and a peripheral edge section which is brought into contact with the first through-hole and is separated therefrom; an inner case (60) which is mounted to the upper part of the outer case (51), has a third through-hole (61a) formed in the ceiling wall (61) thereof, and has a fourth through-hole (64) formed in the peripheral wall (63) thereof; a support plate (70) mounted to the lower part of the inner case (60); an auxiliary valve element (80) contained in a vertically slidable manner within the inner case (60) so that the auxiliary valve element (80) can be brought into contact with and be separated from the third through-hole and so that the auxiliary valve element (80) is always supported by the support plate (70) by the weight of the auxiliary valve element (80); and a flow path for connecting the second through-hole and the fourth through-hole (64).
