Abstract:
This valve device constituting an air vent flow passage of a fuel tank is provided with: a float valve; an inner case having a valve hole for the float valve in an upper portion thereof and receiving the float valve; an outer case receiving the inner case from an upper open end thereof and provided with a bottom section; and a mounting part for mounting to the tank side. The valve device is configured such that: a flow passage which serves as a portion of the air vent flow passage is formed between the side section of the inner case and the side section of the outer case; a through hole is provided in the side section of the inner case; and an engaging claw for engaging with the outer case is provided just above the through hole.
