Abstract:
The purpose of this disclosure is to provide a valve diagnosis device that can be combined with an existing valve and makes automatic corrosion diagnosis possible, a valve device using the same, and a valve diagnosis method. This valve diagnosis device 300 comprises an ultrasonic transmission unit 104 for transmitting ultrasound US toward a valve element 10 for opening and closing a valve 100 to be diagnosed, an ultrasound reception unit 108 for receiving ultrasound US transmitted from the ultrasound transmission unit 104, a control unit 102 for driving the ultrasound transmission unit 104 and processing a reception signal from the ultrasound reception unit 108, and a storage unit 112 for storing the reception signal. The control unit 102 detects the corrosion of the valve element 10 from the difference between the intensities of the reception signal when the valve 100 was in an initial state and the reception signal at the time of diagnosis.
