Abstract:
The invention relates to a valve drive for a gas exchange valve (11) in an engine or a machine, said drive comprising a magnetic armature (12) that extends in a longitudinally displaceable manner inside a stator (1) provided with a current coil (23), with a preferably hollow cylindrical section thereof located at a distance from the gas exchange valve (11), in such a way that an end of the armature (12) protruding from the stator (1) actuates the gas exchange valve (11) when the current coil (23) is excited. The armature (12) and the stator (1) together form an independently operable, preferably functionally pre-testable module that is detachably connected to the gas exchange valve (11).
