Abstract:
This valve element for controlling the flow of a fluid comprises: a first movable electrode part provided with a fluid inlet through which the fluid flows; a second movable electrode part provided with an outlet through which the fluid is discharged, and being located so as to cover the fluid inlet, with a space between the second movable electrode part and the first movable electrode part; a spacer part for establishing the space between the first movable electrode part and the second movable electrode part; and a frame part that forms a back chamber in communication with the fluid inlet and supports the first movable electrode part. The first movable electrode part and the second movable electrode part can be drawn together so as to seal the fluid inlet, by an electrostatic attraction caused by applying a voltage to the first movable electrode part and the second movable electrode part.
