Abstract:
A valve (1) for metering a fluid which is used in particular as a fuel injection valve for internal combustion engines, which valve comprises an electromagnetic actuator (2) arranged in a housing (6) and a valve needle (8) which can be actuated by an armature (4) of the actuator (2) and which is used to actuate a valve closing body (9) which interacts with a valve seat face (10) to form a sealing seat (26). The armature (4) is movably guided on the valve needle (8). A stop element (12) connected to the valve needle (8) in conjunction with an actuation of the valve needle (8) limits a relative movement between the armature (4) and the valve needle (8). At least one elastically deformable spacer element (13, 14) is provided between the armature (4) and the stop element (12), which spacer element includes a damping chamber (35) provided between an end face (23) of the armature (4) and a stop element surface (29) of the stop element (12) facing the end face (23) of the armature (4) when the relative movement between the armature (4) and the valve needle (8) on the stop element (12) is limited. A volume (35') of the damping chamber (35) is reduced when the relative movement between the armature (4) and the valve needle (8) on the stop element (12) is limited.
