Abstract:

Provided is a valve open/close period control device that prevents wearing of at least one of either a drive-side rotating member and a driven-side rotating member, even when a surface that extends in the diameter direction of a spring member and at least one of either the drive-side rotating member and the driven-side rotating member slide. A torsion spring that impels a relative rotational phase in a retard direction or an advance direction, is disposed between the driven-side rotating member and a housing-side surface section in the shaft direction of a cam shaft, and a spring washer is arranged between the driven-side rotating member and the torsion spring.
