Abstract:
A valve which is capable of readily and rigidly connecting thereto a pipe body (16) and preventing leakage of water, and a piping method therefor. The valve comprises one or more connections (14, 48, 70, 74, 80) for connection with one end of the pipe body (16), a valve disk (24) and a valve casing (26, 62, 76) formed of metal. The connections (14, 48, 70, 74, 80) is formed to be cylindrical-shaped, and is formed integral with a cover (28, 64), which is formed of resin or rubber to cover a part or whole of the valve casing (26, 62, 76).
