Abstract:
Provided is a valve stem seal capable of suppressing the valve stem seal 11 from being separated from a valve stem guide 61 even when a large port pressure is applied to the valve stem seal 11. The valve stem seal 11 comprises: an inner ring 21 that is fixed to the valve stem guide 61; a seal 31 that is held by the inner ring 21 and is made of a rubber-like elastic body material; and an outer ring 41 that is disposed on an outer circumferential side of the inner ring 21. The inner ring 21 has: a cylindrical part 22 that is fitted to an outer peripheral side of the valve stem guide 61; and a flange part 23 that is provided radially inward from an upper end of the cylindrical part 22. The outer ring 41 has: a cylindrical part 42; a spring reception part 43 that is provided at a lower end of the cylindrical part 42 and receives a valve spring 101; and an inner ring retaining part 44 that is provided at an upper end of the cylindrical part 42 and suppresses the inner ring 21 from being separated from the valve stem guide 61.
