Abstract:
A variable valve timing adjustment device (VVT) (1) comprises: a tubular case (2) that rotates in sync with a crankshaft; a rotor (3) that is housed in the case (2), and rotates in sync with a camshaft; a first cover (4) that has a first through hole (4a), and covers one opening (2c) of the case (2); a second cover (5) that has a second through hole (5a), and covers another opening (2d) of the case (2); a first fastening member (6) that, having penetrated the first through hole (4a), fixes the first cover (4) and the case (2); and a second fastening member (7) that, having penetrated the second hole (5a), fixes the second cover (5) and the case (2).
