Abstract:
The present invention relates to the equipment used in technical sanitary installations and may be used for controlling flows of a working medium in water-supply and heating networks. The valve of the present invention includes a body with a cover, a spindle mounted in the opening of said cover, a gasket, a closure comprising a mobile ceramic disc and a fixed ceramic disc, and an antifriction insert. The fixed disc is attached within the body, while the mobile disc is mounted so as to be capable of interaction with the spindle and of a 90° rotation relative to the first one. The cylindrical surface of the spindle, on the side of its lower end face, is provided with an annular protrusion, while an annular shoulder is provided in the opening of the cover on the side of the lower plane thereof. The diameter of the protrusion represents from 0.15 to 1 time that of the mobile disc. In order to provide a sealed closure, the spindle on the plane of its lower end face is directly mounted in the mobile disc. The insert is arranged in the gap between the annular protrusion and shoulder. The fixed disc comprises two segment-shaped through-windows, while the mobile disc correspondingly includes two recesses for connecting the through-windows upon rotation. This invention thus provides a valve with an improved operation reliability and with a simplified structure.
