Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a valve that requires a small drive force of a drive source when the valve is closed. A valve V1 comprises a valve housing 10 and a valve body 50 to be driven by a drive source 80, and causes the valve body 50 to be moved from a control region to a blocking region, to thereby control the flow rate of a fluid flowing inside a through-flow path 12 in the direction opposite to the blocking direction of the valve body 50. The valve V1 has a structure in which an effective pressure-receiving area where the pressure of the fluid acts on the valve body 50 in accordance with the stroke of the valve body 50 is changed over between the control region and the blocking region. The effective pressure-receiving area is narrower in the blocking region than in the control region.
