Provided is a valve in which a connecting portion is less likely to break even when the valve is reduced in size or is required to be subjected to a high load and which is also easy to assemble. This valve has a valve unit and a drive unit, and includes: a first recessed portion formed in any one of a second stem and a first stem and having a groove formed at a predetermined position on the inner peripheral surface of the recessed portion; a second recessed portion formed in any other one of the second stem and the first stem; a stem pin to be accommodated in both of the recessed portions; a biasing member which is accommodated in the first recessed portion and which biases the stem pin toward the other side; a side wall through hole penetrating a side wall of the second recessed portion horizontally; and a ball which enters the side wall through hole. When the second stem is pressed against the first stem up to a predetermined position, the ball is fitted into the groove, the stem pin is biased by the biasing member to be placed at a predetermined position, the ball is fixed by being sandwiched between a surface of the groove and a side surface of the stem pin, and the second stem and the first stem are fixedly connected to each other.
