Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to contribute to specific technology and to the enrichment of a product by providing a valved needle assembly with a novel, hitherto non-existent structure. A valved needle assembly 10, in which the inside of a needle hub 18 provided to the base end side of a hollow needle 16 has a valve member 44 incorporated therein for blocking communication to the hollow needle 16, wherein: the inside of the needle hub 18 is provided with a protruding section 38 that protrudes from the tip end side towards the base end side thereof; the inside of the needle hub 18 to the base end side of the protruding section 38 is blocked by the valve member 44; a central valve section 46 of the valve member 44 is positioned facing the protruding section 38, has a slit formed therein 48, and, when moved towards the protruding section 38, causes the slit 48 to be opened by the protruding section 38 and to be placed in a communication state; and the central valve section 46 is provided with a tip-end-side cylindrical section 52 that extends from an outer peripheral portion towards the tip end side, and a base-end-side cylindrical section 56 that extends from the outer peripheral portion towards the base end side.
