Abstract:
A complex of a compound represented by the general formula (I) and vanadium or a vanadium compound: (I) wherein R1 and R2 independently represent a hydrocarbon group which may be substituted, provided that at least one of R1 and R2 is a group having at least one asymmetric carbon atom; R3 and R4 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a mercapto group, an amino group, a phosphino group, a hydrocarbon group which may be substituted, a hydrocarbonoxy group which may be substituted, a hydrocarbonmercapto group which may be substituted, a hydrocarbonamino group which may be substituted or a hydrocarbonphosphino group which may be substituted; R5 and R6 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbon group which may be substituted, provided that R1 and R3, R2 and R4, R3 and R5, R4 and R6 and/or R5 and R6 may together form a ring.
