Abstract:
A vanadium redox secondary battery (1) comprises: a positive electrode (50) including an active substance which contains vanadium ions or ions containing vanadium; a negative electrode (60) including an active substance which contains vanadium ions or ions containing vanadium; and an ion-permeable diaphragm (7) that separates the positive electrode (50) and the negative electrode (60) and has through holes (70) formed at positions opposing the electrodes (50) and (60).
