Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a vane compressor wherein the configuration of the lower end of a vane is changed to make it unlikely that the shoulders of the lower end of the vane will move onto the circular arc side surfaces of a back-pressure chamber, thereby preventing the rotation of a rotor from being restricted by the vane having projected from the outer peripheral surface of the rotor.
[Solution] A vane compressor is configured in such a manner that: a back-pressure chamber 10 having a recessed circular arc surface 101 is formed at the bottom of a vane groove 5; the lower end 61 of the vane 6 in the direction of forward and backward movement of the vane 6 has a projecting circular arc surface 611a facing the bottom-side circular arc surface 101c of the recessed circular arc surface 101 at the bottom of the vane groove 5; and when the lower end 61 of the vane 6 is in contact with the bottom-side circular arc surface 101c of the recessed circular arc surface 101 at the bottom of the vane groove 5, air gaps D are formed between the lower end 61 of the vane 6 and the recessed circular arc surface 101 at the bottom of the vane groove 5, at positions on both sides of the vane 6 in the thickness direction thereof.
