Abstract:
This vane pump is provided with: a rotor that is rotatably driven and used as a fluid pressure supply source; a plurality of slits that is formed in a radial configuration on the rotor; a plurality of vanes that slidably projects from the slits; a cam ring that is slidably contacted by the vane tips due to rotation of the rotor; a pump chamber that is defined between the cam ring and adjacent vanes; a plurality of discharge ports that guides operating fluid discharged from the pump chamber, which shrinks due to rotation of the rotor; a discharge passage into which the operating fluid led from the discharge ports converge; and a check valve that opens for the flow of operating fluid discharged from one discharge port to the discharge passage.
