Abstract:
A vane (1) of a vane pump is entirely molded into a long rectangular plate shape, and the interior of the vane (1) is hollow. In other words, the vane (1) is provided with a pair of front and rear sliding parts (1A, 1B) having a flat plate shape, three longitudinal ribs (1E) running along the longitudinal direction thereof, and two connecting ribs (1F) connecting the longitudinal ribs (1E) that are in adjacent positions, the pair of sliding parts (1A, 1B) being integrally connected by the connecting ribs (1F) with the longitudinal ribs (1E) disposed between the sliding parts (1A, 1B). The connecting ribs (1F) are formed into straight linear shapes, and are disposed at an incline relative to end surfaces that constitute longitudinal end parts (1C, 1D) of the vane (1). Because the connecting ribs (1F) are disposed at an incline relative to the end surfaces that constitute the end parts (1C, 1D), it is possible to provide a vane (1) that has greater strength than a conventional product in which the connecting ribs are disposed at right angles relative to the longitudinal ribs.
