Abstract:
A vapor generation device is provided with: a water storage chamber for storing water; at least one heating section for generating vapor by heating the water within the water storage chamber; a water supply device for supplying water into the water storage chamber; and fins provided within the water storage chamber. The water storage chamber is provided with a vapor jetting opening for jetting vapor generated by the heating section. The fins are formed below the vapor jetting opening along the direction in which the vapor is generated, and the fins are arranged separated from each other so as to extend across the heating section. At least one such heating section may be provided to each of the upper side and lower side of the level of the water within the water storage chamber during heating operation.
