Abstract:
A vapor supply device for hairdressing and beauty care, configured so that, during an operational time period in which vapor is used, the vapor supply device can, using a conventional heater of lower electric power consumption, eject vapor having a required pressure. The device comprises: an air-tight, vapor generation container (2); a water supply section (3) which supplies water to the container (2); a heater (4) which heats the container (2) by electricity; an ejection section (5) which ejects to others the vapor generated in the container (2) by heating by the heater (4); and a pressure detection section which detects the pressure within the container (2). The vapor supply device is also provided with a water supply control section which causes the water supply section (3) to limit the supply of water to the inside of the container (2). The container (2) has a capacity which, if water is supplied to the container (2) before vapor is used, enables, during a predetermined time period for ejecting the vapor, the ejection section (5) to eject water vapor having a pressure required for use. When the pressure detector detects that the pressure of vapor within the container (2) has reached a usable pressure by heating by the heater (4), the water supply control section causes the water supply section (3) to limit the supply of water to the inside of the container (2) during a predetermined time period for ejecting the vapor.
