Abstract:
The present invention relates to a variable acupressure ball for a massaging apparatus, wherein the position of an acupressure ball formed in an acupressure implement is rendered variable in accordance with the acupressure strength, thereby maintaining the maximum appropriate acupressure strength because the position of the acupressure ball is variable in accordance with body size rather than a single unchanging acupressure position being used regardless of body size. The massaging apparatus of the present invention comprises: a drive motor (1) and a reduction gear (2) coupled thereto, and an acupressure implement which is coupled in such a way as to rotate together with the rotational shaft of the reduction gear and comprises an acupressure ball of which one or two or more is (are) disposed on the upper surface of a body; and the acupressure ball comprises a shaft (11) formed projecting from the upper surface of the acupressure implement body (10), a cap-shaped acupressure ball (21) loosely lodged on the shaft (11), and a resilient means for resiliently restoring the spacing between the cap-shaped acupressure ball (21) and the shaft (11). Because the acupressure implement for a massaging apparatus of the present invention is constituted in such a way that the position of the acupressure ball of the acupressure implement is resiliently variable by means of the resilient means when the acupressure ball sustains a predetermined pressure due to the resilient means, there is the advantage that the spacing of acupressure balls between acupressure implements on two sides is variable in predetermined fashion and adjusted to an appropriate acupressure strength matching body size characteristics, and thus the user can receive a massage safely in a more comfortable state.
