Abstract:
The invention relates to antenna devices and transmitter-receivers for network notebooks. The inventive antenna device comprises a flat substrate (2) carrying at least two fanwise oriented directional flat antennas (3) and a commutation switch (6) for controlling the directive diagram of said antenna device. Said commutation switch is embodied in such a way that it is possible to connect simultaneously two or more antennas. The inventive transmitter-receiver comprises the antenna device (1), an antenna changeover switch (12), a transmitter (14), a receiver (16), a unit (18) for controlling the antenna device operation in omnidirectional, directional scanning or stationary directional mode, and a controller (17). Said transmitter-receiver can be added with a unit (20) for evaluating the quality of a signal and a unit (21) for the identification thereof. The inventive network notebook comprises the transmitter-receiver and the antenna device which is pivotally fixed to the body of the notebook.
