Abstract:
The present invention relates to a variable-capacity swash plate-type compressor control method and a variable-capacity swash plate-type compressor controlled thereby. The method may comprise: a first determination step for determining the possibility that a liquid refrigerant exists in the compressor when the compressor is started; a first operation step in which, when it is determined that the liquid refrigerant is highly likely to exist, power is applied to a field coil assembly, and a current is not applied to an electronic control valve; a second determination step for comparing an elapsed time for operation in the first operation step with a predetermined reference time; and a second operation step in which, when it is determined that the elapsed time is greater than or equal to the reference time, the power applied to the field coil assembly in the first operation step is maintained, and a current is applied to the electronic control valve.
