Abstract:
A variable-capacity vane pump comprising a first fluid pressure chamber and a second fluid pressure chamber provided across an oscillation fulcrum of a cam ring, a control valve being provided for controlling the drive pressure of operating fluid led from a pump chamber to the second fluid pressure chamber, the intake pressure of the operating fluid drawn into the pump chamber being constantly led to the first fluid pressure chamber, the cam ring being oscillated in a direction of reducing discharge capacity by the pressure of the pump chamber acting on the inner peripheral cam surface during operation of reducing drive pressure, and the cam ring being oscillated in a direction of increasing discharge capacity during operation of increasing drive pressure.
