Abstract:
This vane pump (100) comprises: a second pump body (20) which houses a cam ring (4), a spring (27) which energizes the cam ring (4) in a direction in which eccentricity with respect to the rotor (2) increases; a first pump body (10) and pump cover (15) which are positioned so as to clamp the second pump body (20); and a housing chamber (29) for housing the spring (27). A first interior surface (30) and second interior surface (40) which surround the spring (27) in the housing chamber (29) are respectively provided with supports (31, 41) that support the end (27a) of the spring (27) that is seated on the seating surface (20a) of the second pump body (20), and relief sections (32, 42) that are formed extending from the supports (31, 41) in the energizing direction of the spring (27) and are further away from the spring (27) than the supports (31, 41).
