Provided by the present invention is a method for color displaying, in an apparatus having a rotating part, information which is appended to the rotation. The method includes positioning, approximately perpendicularly to the axis of rotation of the rotation, a first polarized film, a printed film, a phase difference film, and a second polarized film, with the first polarized film, the phase difference film, and the second polarized film positioned in this order, and either one or two films which are selected from the first polarized film, the phase difference film, and the second polarized film being rotated with the rotation of the rotating part. This method is capable of a complex color display with more colors than before, inexpensively and with good energy efficiency in installation, maintenance, and usage.
