Abstract:

A variable displacement compressor satisfying the expression of (θ3 + θ4) > θ5 > θ1, θ2, where θ1 is a first maximum tilt angle to which a link member (45) is tilted due to the clearance between a slit (41s) of a rotor (21) and one end (45a) of the link member (45), θ2 is a second maximum tilt angle to which the link member (45) is tilted due to the clearance between a slit (43s) of a swash plate (24) and the other end (45b) of the link member (45), θ3 is a third maximum tilt angle to which a first connection pin (46) is tilted due to the clearance between the first connection pin (46) and a first bearing hole (41a), θ4 is a fourth maximum tilt angle to which a second connection pin (47) is tilted due to the clearance between a second connection pin (47) and a second bearing hole (43a), and θ5 is a fifth maximum tilt angle to which the swash plate (24) is tilted relative to a drive shaft (10) due to the clearance between the drive shaft (10) and a pair of tiltable guide surfaces (37, 37).
