Abstract:
A structure of a hinge mechanism of a variable displacement compressor is simplified. This variable displacement compressor is provided with a hinge mechanism 140 comprising a rotor arm 141, a swash plate arm 142, a pin 143, and a protruding part 144. The rotor arm 141 comprises two rotor arm wall parts 141a, 141b facing each other. The swash plate arm 142 is inserted between inner wall surfaces 141a1, 141b1 of the rotor arm 141, and comprises two swash plate arm wall parts 142a, 142b facing each other. The pin 143 is linked between both distal end parts 142a2, 142b2 of the two swash plate arm wall parts 142a, 142b. The protruding part 144 is provided to protrude in a prescribed area of a rotor 111 between the two rotor arm wall parts 141a, 141b, and has an inclined surface 144a inclined so that the distance from an end surface of the rotor 111 increases as the distance from the center of the rotor 111 decreases. The pin 143 abuts on the inclined surface 144a.
