Abstract:
A supercharger is provided with: a variable nozzle unit; a bearing housing; a circular heat-shielding plate that is positioned between a turbine rotor and the bearing housing; and a water chamber that is formed in the bearing housing. The heat-shielding plate is pressed and fixed to the variable nozzle unit by a coned disc spring, and fitted into the bearing housing at a fitting part to be positioned in a radial direction. The heat-shielding plate has a fitting surface that is formed in the fitting part, and an inner peripheral side heat-shielding part that protrudes to a turbine side of the bearing housing on a radially inner side than the fitting surface and that is positioned with an axial gap formed between the inner peripheral side heat-shielding part and the bearing housing. At least a portion of the water chamber exists at the same position in the radial direction as the fitting part.
