Abstract:
A variable-displacement swash plate compressor comprises: a cylinder block; a front housing fastened to the cylinder block to form a crank chamber; a rear housing fastened to the cylinder block and forming a suction chamber and a discharge chamber; a driving shaft rotatably supported to the cylinder block and a crank case to be rotatable around a longitudinal axis; a swash plate; a plurality of pistons each configured to reciprocate in a cylinder bore by rotation of the swash plate; and a valve plate assembly having a bleed hole communicating with the suction chamber. The cylinder block forms a connection chamber in which one end of the driving shaft is located and which communicates with the bleed hole. The cylinder block forms a first refrigerant outlet passage connecting the crank chamber and the connection chamber, and the first refrigerant outlet passage is configured to be repeatedly opened and closed depending on the positions of the pistons during the reciprocating movement of the pistons.
