Abstract:

A variable displacement type swash plate clutch-less compressor comprising: a shaft (5) borne rotatably in a housing; a swash plate (10) mounted in an inclinable manner on the shaft (5) so that it rotates integrally with the shaft (5); and a discharge passage (D) for feeding a refrigerant gas to the outside of the compressor, as it is discharged from a compressor chamber (6a) to a discharge chamber (12). In the discharge passage (D), there is disposed a discharge check valve (13) which has a lower opening pressure than an opening pressure.
