Abstract:
This vane pump (100) is provided with: a rotor (20), a plurality of vanes (30), a cam ring (40), a pump chamber (41), an adapter ring (50), a pump body (60), a body-side lateral plate (70), and a body-side port (73), wherein the body-side lateral plate (70) has an expansion region (76a), a contraction region (76b), and a first pressure-receiving surface (77) that receives the pressure introduced through the body-side port (73) so as to oppose the cam ring (40), while the first pressure-receiving surface (77) is formed in such a manner as to be biased toward the contraction region (76b) side with respect to the rotary shaft of the rotor (20).
