Abstract:
A variable floor height tiered stand installed in a gymnasium, auditorium, indoor or outdoor arena or the like, wherein the projected planar space of the stand in its architectural plan is fixed and the fear of interference between the stand and any fixed structure in changing the slope is eliminated by minimizing, when changing the slope of the tier floor of the stand, the displacement of each tier floor in the longitudinal direction and the variation of the depth of each tier floor.
