Abstract:
A variable inclination angle fault slip simulation test method, in which a sample device and a loading device are used. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, sample preparation; step 2, sample assembly; step 3, loading preparation; and step 4, sample loading. According to the method, rock-like samples of interfaces (8) with different inclination angles can be prepared, the types of the interfaces (8) include common crack interfaces, interfaces with different roughness and low-strength weak interfaces; the slip damage process of faults with different inclination angles can be simulated, and the forward-inclination slip and the reverse-inclination slip of faults can be simulated; a slip simulation test is convenient to operate, and test data can be automatically and accurately collected; and the method is used for studying slip conditions of faults with different inclination angles and mechanical behaviors of the faults in the sliding process.
