Abstract:
The present invention relates to an intercooler which cools supply air that is to be provided to an engine and then provides same, an engine for a power generator equipped with same, and a biogas power generator. The variable intercooler having improved heat exchange efficiency, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a heat exchanger that carries out heat exchange between external air and supply air that is to be provided to an engine main body; and a cooling fan that provides external air so that the supply air passing through the heat exchanger and external air can undergo heat exchange, wherein the heat exchanger comprises a main heat exchange part through which the supply air passes and undergoes heat exchange with external air, and an expanding heat exchange part which, according to the efficiency of the heat exchanger, is inserted into or protrudes from the main heat exchange part so as to expand or reduce the size of the heat exchanger. Thus, the heat exchange efficiency is increased and the output of the engine can be increased.
