Abstract:
A variable magnetic flux motor drive system includes: a permanent magnet motor (4);
an inverter (1) for driving the permanent magnet motor; and magnetization means
for applying a magnetization current for controlling the magnetic flux of the
permanent magnet. The permanent magnet is a variable magnet having a magnetic flux
density which can be changed by a magnetization current from the inverter (1).
The magnetization means is a variable magnetic flux motor drive system characterized by
applying a magnetization current above the magnetization saturation region of
the magnetic substance of the variable magnet and improves the repetition accuracy
of the magnetic flux of the variable magnet (53) and the torque accuracy.
