Abstract:
The present invention is configured by lens components including, in order from the object side; a first lens group G1 having a negative refractive power; a second lens group G2 having a positive refractive power; a third lens group G3 having a negative refractive power; and a rear group including at least one lens group and having a positive refractive power as a whole, wherein, when a magnification is varied, an air interval between the adjacent lens groups changes such that the first lens group G1 has a negative refractive power. Thus, a variable magnification optical system and an optical device having excellent optical performance, and a manufacturing method for the variable magnification optical system are provided.
