Abstract:
This variable nozzle unit is provided with a variable nozzle blade disposed between a hub wall surface and a shroud wall surface and capable of pivoting within a gas inflow passage about a pivot axis parallel to the rotation axis of the turbine blade wheel. The variable nozzle blade includes a front edge, a rear edge, a hub end surface which faces the hub wall surface, and a shroud end surface which faces the shroud wall surface. The variable nozzle blade is configured twisted about a twist center located between the rear edge and the pivot axis so that, on the front edge side, the hub end surface will protrude further toward the outside radially of the rotation axis than the shroud end surface, and on the rear edge side, the hub end surface will protrude further toward the inside radially of the rotation axis than the shroud end surface.
