Abstract:
The present invention relates to a variable pitch pulley for a belt-pulley-type continuously variable transmission, and a belt-pulley-type continuously variable transmission having same, the variable pitch pulley enabling the obtainment of a wide gear ratio spread. A spring-loaded variable pitch pulley for a belt-pulley-type continuously variable transmission, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a rotary shaft; a stationary sheave which is fixedly installed on the rotary shaft; a movable sheave which is installed on the rotary shaft so as to face the stationary sheave, and, in order to enable the formation of a belt groove, around which a belt is wound, between the movable sheave and the stationary sheave, comprises an inner sheave movably installed on the outer surface of the rotary shaft along the axial direction, and an outer sheave installed on the outer side of the inner sheave so as to be stacked in the radial direction, and installed so as to be movable with respect to the inner sheave along the axial direction of the rotary shaft; and a movable sheave position determination unit which determines the relative positions of the inner sheave and outer sheave by being coupled to the inner sheave and outer sheave simultaneously in a first moving mode in which the inner sheave and outer sheave move simultaneously along the axial direction of the rotary shaft, or being coupled to only the outer sheave in a second moving mode in which the outer sheave moves with respect to the inner sheave along the axial direction of the rotary shaft, and thus enables the first moving mode and second moving mode to be carried out according to a change in the tension of the belt caused by a transmission control device which uses an adjustable center-to-center distance transmission method or a fixed center-to-center distance transmission method.
