Provided is a variable-speed speed increaser with an electric device for generating a rotational driving force and a gearbox, wherein: the gearbox comprises a sun gear, planet gears, an internal gear, a planet gear carrier, and an internal gear carrier; the sun gear shaft forms an output shaft that is connected to an object to be driven; the internal gear carrier shaft forms a constant speed input shaft; the planet gear carrier shaft forms a variable-speed input shaft; the electric device comprises a constant speed electric motor with a constant speed rotor that is connected to the constant speed input shaft of the gearbox and a variable-speed electric motor with a variable-speed rotor that is connected to the variable-speed input shaft of the gearbox; the rotor of the object being driven is provided with a jaw clutch that is disposed on the axial line and connects the variable-speed rotor to the variable-speed input shaft; and the jaw clutch comprises a first clutch engagement element provided on the variable-speed rotor-side, a second clutch engagement element provided on the variable-speed input shaft-side, and a movement device for moving the first clutch engagement element or the second clutch engagement element along the axial direction.
