Abstract:
A variable-stroke cylinder piston (1) of a cylinder type internal combustion engine. A connecting shaft (3c) of a connecting rod (3) is connected to the piston (1) through an elongated hole (1a) in the piston (1). The connecting shaft (3c) of the connecting rod can not only rotate in the elongated hole (1a) in the piston, but also slide freely along the elongated hole (1a). When the piston (1) works in the intake stroke, under the effect of the negative pressure of gas in a cylinder (2), the connecting rod (3) is driven by a crankshaft (4) to move, and the connecting shaft (3c) slides from the near end to the far end in the elongated hole (1a) in the piston to drive the piston to work, so that the intake stroke of the cylinder (2) is relatively shortened. When the piston (1) works in the exhaust, compression and power strokes, under the effect of the positive pressure of gas in the cylinder (2), the connecting shaft (3c) in the elongated hole (1a) in the piston returns to the near end of the elongated hole (1a) in the piston, so that the intake stroke of the piston is relatively shortened as compared with the power stroke, and therefore more pressure of gas resulting from expansion after each combustion of the engine is converted into power. The variable-stroke cylinder piston has the beneficial effects of small fuel consumption, high power efficiency, and the like.
