Abstract:
An objective of the present invention is to provide a variable vane oil pump that enables a position, where a cylinder ring and a guide member are in contact with each other, to be constantly positioned on the center line of the cylinder ring, so that a required quantity of oil can be provided thereto at a required rotation speed. In order to achieve the above objective, a variable vane oil pump according to the present invention includes: a rotor integrally connected with a rotor shaft in a body and having vanes which are fitted therein and move straight along and in a plurality of vane grooves radially distributed, respectively; a cylinder ring which eccentrically surrounds the outer circumference of the rotor, is rotated by a frictional force due to contact with front ends of the vanes, and is eccentrically installed by a sliding tolerance; and a control valve supporting the cylinder ring, wherein a guide member, one side of which is connected with the control valve, has another side formed as an inclined surface having an inclination angle, and the control valve is inclined as much as the inclination angle of the inclined surface.
