Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for specifically detecting Varicella zoster virus (VZV). The present invention relates to an immunochromatography apparatusfor detecting Varicella zoster virus (VZV), including a sample adding section, a marker substance holding section, a chromatography medium section having a detection section, and an absorption section, wherein at least one of the marker substance holding section and the detection section contains antibodies that, in Varicella zoster virus glycoprotein E (VZVgE) constituted of an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1, recognize positions 1-188 of the amino acid sequence.
