Abstract:
The present invention is for providing a varicose vein surgical instrument useful for varicose vein surgery. That is, the present invention comprises: a catheter (100) having first and second lumens (110, 120) formed therein, and having a controller (130) installed on an end portion thereof so as to control the movement of a wire (140) inserted in the first lumen (110); a plurality of elastic pieces (200) each having one end connected to the wire (140) and the other end formed so as to radially spread in an elastic manner; a blade (300) outwardly disposed on the respective end portions of the elastic pieces (200) so as to incise the tunica intima of a blood vessel (1); and a syringe unit (400) connected to the second lumen (120) so as to supply a vascular occlusion drug into the blood vessel (1), thereby inflicting chemical damage thereon. By using the varicose vein surgical instrument, the range of physical damage caused by the blades is controlled according to the lengths of the elastic pieces protruding from the catheter, and thus the varicose vein surgical instrument has the advantage of being widely applicable to blood vessels of various sizes.
