Abstract:

The present invention, which is directed to a method of manufacturing pellet type organic crude fertilizer and raw compost material by utilizing the pressurizing and kneading effects of a rotary screw apparatus, and which can render unnecessary a long term fermentation treatment and equipment, such as a boiler and its management system, is characterized in that the method includes the steps of introducing a raw vegetable fiber material and cut organic material to be treated into a rotary screw-carrying casing, pressurizing and kneading these materials, tearing and smashing the same materials by an interaction between the pressurizing and kneading operations and the edge portions of a plurality of grooves formed in the inner surface of the casing and extending in the axial direction thereof, whereby the raw vegetable fiber material is planted in the organic material to be treated, and pelletizing the resultant product by extruding with a cutter the same product in a predetermined amount at a time from molding ports of the casing.
