Abstract:
A vegetable transplanting machine (1) for improving the survival of seedlings after transplantation, wherein: a planting unit (40) is mounted on the hind part of a riding traveling unit (10) via a lift mechanism (30); the planting unit (40) is provided with rotary or crank-type planting claw sections (70); and one seedling at a time is cut from cell seedling mats (8), which are loaded on a seedling tray (41), by planting claws (45) as a result of the rotation of the planting claw sections (70) in the vertical direction and is planted in a field. The vegetable transplanting machine (1) is provided with a sprinkling device (6) for sprinkling water during planting. The sprinkling device (6) is provided with: a sprinkling tank (62) that is loaded on the traveling unit (10); a sprinkling pump (64), which is provided on the planting unit (40) and discharges water from the sprinkling tank (62) coordinated with the timing of the planting; and a sprinkling nozzle (65) for spouting water discharged from the sprinkling pump (64) near the planting position.
