Abstract:
Provided are a vehicle activation control system, a vehicle-mounted device, a vehicle, a server, a vehicle activation method, a vehicle activation program, and a storage medium with which it is possible to reduce the time lag from when a user pays a rental fee to when activation restrictions on a vehicle are removed. This vehicle activation control system is characterized by comprising a server which manages the activation state of a vehicle, and a vehicle-mounted device which controls the activation state of the vehicle on the basis of a control command that is provided by the server to control the activation state of the vehicle, wherein: the server is connected to and can access a financial system, and can monitor the status of payment of a predetermined fee relating to the vehicle via the financial system; and the server can control the activation state of the vehicle in such a way that, if the server detects that the predetermined fee relating to the vehicle has been paid, then the server provides a control command to the vehicle-mounted device via a communication means, a mobile terminal, and/or an IC card, said control command being for controlling the activation state of the vehicle.
