Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle air conditioner that is capable of smoothly achieving a dehumidification heating mode without the use of an evaporator pressure regulating valve, thereby reducing costs. A controller executes a normal mode for controlling the operation of a compressor 2 on the basis of a radiator pressure PCI, and for controlling the valve opening degree of an outdoor expansion valve 6 on the basis of a heat absorber temperature Te, and if in this normal mode the heat absorber temperature Te falls even when the valve opening degree of the outdoor expansion valve 6 is set to be maximal, the controller switches to a heat absorber temperature control mode for controlling the operation of the compressor 2 on the basis of the temperature of a heat absorber 9, and for causing a secondary heater 23 to emit heat.
