Abstract:
The present invention improves quietness in the cabin of a vehicle by limiting the volume of refrigerant flowing sound radiated from an evaporator disposed within a unit case. This vehicle air conditioner (1) is provided with: a unit case (2) incorporated in the dashboard of a vehicle; an airflow path (3) which is formed inside the unit case (2); an evaporator (4) which is disposed in the airflow path (3); and a connection member (16A) which connects a structure (front surface panel (2b)) of the unit case (2) to the evaporator (4) at a location around the central portion thereof in a surface direction. The connection member (16A) may be a force-applying member that applies force around the central part of the evaporator (4) toward a direction orthogonal to the surface thereof.
